Dear every gamer who happens to come across this post. Please, for the love of all that is good in games, never, ever, ever buy another game created by the egomaniacs at Epic Games. If you post in their forums about how you don't like the direction they are taking their games, you will be censured and then banned for life. Gears of War 3 was looking to be an amazing game, but they have ripped the heart of out it and dumbed down the gameplay where you don't even have to aim the weapons to get kills.
And when you post your honest feelings about the game in their fourms, something they claimed they wanted, you get banned for "trolling." Really? It's trolling to respond honesty to a question posted by another fourm member who asked if people would still buy the game, as is, come September. I was honest and stated that I had already cancelled my preorder for the game because of the gameplay changes and the feeling that those at Epic Games really don't care about the people who already bought and love their games, since they know that most of them will buy anything with the words "Gears of War" on it. Well I, for one, refuse to pay full retail price for a game with dumbed down gameplay to help "noobs" feel good about getting kills because they don't want to put the time, energy and pride into getting better at playing the way the game has always been played.
So I say, good for you, Epic Games, you have whored your sister out to make yourself a boatload of cash. And I wouldn't worry too much about the longevity of such a move...with so many people turning tricks with her at any given moment, it shouldn't take too long for everyone to realize she's so full of STD's from getting gang banged so much that most will walk away rather than chance catching something from Typhoid Mary.
