2013 Five0bang Artist/Mixer Fic Claiming
Yes, this is a bad habit I have. I'm late in getting this posted.
We have 4 artist/mixers signed up and 5 fics (4 posted summaries and awaiting the summary for #5). A couple of the artist said they'd do multiples, so I'm fairly certain everyone will get some kind of art for their fic.

Summary:
Grace is playing in Steve's house one rainy afternoon and comes across a strange, light rock. She starts playing with it and forgets to put it back at the end of the day, leaving it in a corner behind a box. When it hatches, Steve is strangely not surprised. Danny is angry. Life is weird enough without having to deal with a pet dragon! Of course it imprints on Steve and Grace and hates Danny! It manages to involve itself in their cases and helps catch criminals and all round adds to the paperwork. And it still hates Danny!
Haven't decided yet quite what it looks like.

Summary: Steve and Danny have settled down and made a life for themselves in Hawaii, complete with two beautiful daughters and a crazy, mix of ohana. When Steve is recalled to duty after an attack on Hawaii, their strengths are tested as both a couple and as individuals. Danny must learn, once again, to handle life as a "single" father and face what life would be like if Steve doesn't return. Steve must face all the decisions he's made in his life and the possibility of losing his family to his career.

Pairing: Steve/Danny, secondary minor slash pairing; Although the story contains a Steve/Danny romance, the story is not about the Steve/Danny romance--there's plenty of Steve and Danny, but Chin and Kono also play very active roles here, and there is a non-romance plot (the story doesn't end with them kissing, or even going to bed, even though they do get to do both).
Rating: NC-17 (there's explicit slash sex, quite a bit of violence, and a particularly creepy/icky scene under water)
Warnings: There's major character death, but it's not permanent. There's OC death that *is* permanent. There is lots of violence, and drugged loss of volition, although none of the sex is non-con.
Summary:This is an H50/Highlander crossover. For Highlander newbies,check out this Crack Van Highlander overview: http://crack-van.livejournal.com/4697.html . Most of the story will be focused on H50, but several Highlander characters make an appearance, and there's also a few cameo scenes from a third fandom! Highlander means that there will be historical flashbacks--so opportunities to depict people in historical garb, if that's your thing. It also means *swords,* so if you ever wanted to have Five-0 characters swinging a sword, now's your chance. Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess, is actually a living person in this fic, so feel free to get out copious amounts of volcano imagery, too. There are also several scenes on (and one *in*) the ocean, so water imagery is also welcomed. Come to think of it, there's some scenes in the air, too. So I've got all the elements: fire, earth, water, and air!

An international terrorist, with an unusual interest in volcanoes, has come to Hawai'i. Immortal FBI Agent Matthew McCormick is on his trail and seeks the help of the Five-0 team-then things get really explosive! And what's with that funny new tattoo on Chin's wrist?

Rating: R, I think, to be safe. Demons, mild gore, mental torture (nothing too bad or on camera, as it were), and probably some manly kissing
Warnings: Mild demon gore, violence but not more than in the show, I don't think, Steve getting mentally tortured with images and feelings of his past, ghosts, brief consensual possession,
Summary: When Danny's sister Heather disappears, Steve drops everything and accompanies his partner back to New Jersey to help look for her despite Danny's objections. How could Danny think he wouldn't? But there's more than Steve can ever guess to Danny's reluctance for him to help him than just being difficult. Danny eventually shares the shocking information that his sister is a psychic PI, and that he can see ghosts.
Still reeling from Danny's revelations, Steve finds himself following Danny around a New York he never knew existed, one populated by magicians and long dead voodoo priestesses, ghosts and demons. One where Danny has all the skills and training, and Steve is barely even the backup. And while Danny might be a BAMF when it comes to magic spells, Steve soon makes the magical world sit up and take notice by doing something that's stupid and heroic, and exactly what Danny told him not too. Working together as usual, but having to trust each other with their unfamiliar roles, they must save New York from an invasion of demons. Oh, and work out just why Steve seems to have picked up some of Danny's abilities.
