awesome thanks my favorite thing to do while travelling is to try to take the exact same pictures as someone else. it's cool/creepy to think about how they were standing in like the same spot. anyways, i'm gonna try that with the cannon ball.
Hey, when I was there, that was the same dilly! Though I got more of the tear gas then pepper spray.
Vince>If it is still open, you might want to check out: Chez Rabelais, a nice little cafe with decent food and good deals on beer. Also, the Wok and Bowl is good.
Actually, if you just walk around, you'll hvae a blast, and find tons of things to do. Quebec City so totally rules it isn't even funny
yah, the goal for saturday afternoon is to walk around vieu québec Chez Rabelais sounds perfect. it's place with cheap beer and good atmosphere i'll need most.
check out: 1. Plains of Abraham (you can't miss it) 2. Chateau Frontenac, its a big, pretty building (for a big, pretty guy) 3. this irish pub on St. Jean Street or something. it's where I drank with this guy that gave me a ride when i was hitchhiking out east. We drank there with this guy whose family owns Denny's and he smoked cigars and then he left and i learned he paid my tab. (pay him back for me, it's like 50 bucks. i'm not good for it) 4. the wax museum 5. this cross at the top of a hill. there's ghosts there.
Last time i was there I got hit with a tear gas can and ended up in some documentary whilst puking on a sidewalk. But the time BEFORE that was even better.
It's just generally a beautiful city. To all of the above, I conquer, but add a walk on the boardwalk. I have a great memory of my parents walking by the water and an accordian player spontaniously playing for them and they joined in dancing on the boardwalk. May your trip be as good!
