Looong time coming
Hey hey LJ-ers!
It’s been quite some time since I posted here, which is for numerous boring real life reasons such as exams and just being lazy.
Nothing new with me at all. Still same old me, same old place, same old stuff. Brother’s hot friend still doing my head in. Going to have to do something about that, I think.
So I’ve been pondering recently the meaning of the word “grace”, and how people behave gracefully. I’m not talking about walking or talking like a lady, I’m talking about showing real grace under pressure. Like when all around you life is turning to shit, there are some people who carry themselves with such dignity it’s actually humbling. Picking themselves up and dusting themselves down and just getting on with it.
I’ve also been thinking recently about how crap men are. Last year I had 3 separate guys who all had girlfriends try it on with me. Clearly I look like the kind of girl that would be up for that sort of thing, but why? Why is there still the big divide in guys' heads between girls they’d fuck and girls they’d date? Why do guys still think there are only two types of women, the Madonna or the whore? Can’t you be a little bit of both?
Been getting drunk quite a lot and forming unfortunate crushes on people that I should just leave well alone *is grinning*
On that note, I’m off to look up my uni timetable on the net.
