Spring Break in Louisiana

I spent last week with the Drew Habitat for Humanity chapter. 20 of us piled into 2 vans and drove straight to Pearl River, Louisiana, on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain. Good for you! I know a lot of people who went by for s.b. but none that helped. It's horrible down there! There are still trees on top of houses and houses that haven't been rebuilt, let alone boarded up. I asked friends if they at least supported the economy by drinking. Of course that was a thumbs up.

You're right we need to continue to support. People forget about this stuff when it's not right in front of them.
