My brother is being driven into the woods to become a man. He has to wear a blindfold until he gets there. An older man from my family's church is driving a van filled with blindfolded teenage boys, towards the forest, at night. I hope he doesn't get pulled over

I don't know what they do on this pow-wow either and was chastised for inquiring too closely because asking questions "wasn't in the spirit of the retreat."
I just wanted to go camping with Joel and Zach, but unfortunately I had to work Friday evening.

I figure it can't be too sinister-- probably something very corny and new-agey, at worst-- but my imagination does not know sense, and keeps playing me bizarre scenes of occult mysticism and ritual abuse. I read too much pulp.
