how cool is this?!?! I want one! First I wanted to cultivate silk worms, but I think a cotton plant is much more feasible. ;) Rosemary at UT spins the cotton right from the... I forgot what it's called, the fluff ball without it being de-seeded.... pretty neat stuff!

Processing silk worms smells horrible (that's what I've been told). You have to boil them alive in the cocoons before they start eating their way out. Growing cotton in FL is easy. If you want some seeds, send me your snail mail and I'll send you some to plant next spring.
