Recycled Sari Silk Yarn Weaving Test
I spent a lot of money on this yarn and made the vest from the book, Folk Vests.
Unfortunately, the designer didn't do much testing with this yarn.
Unless you hold with a more stable yarn,
the vest stretches the moment you put it on.
So I am gradually ripping it out. It doesn't come apart easily.
Since it was kitted in stripes, I have short lengths to work with now,
knitting another garment is out of the question.
Below is a woven sample. I think I really like this - especially the purple.
