Got a Thinkpad X61. It's a 12.1", 3 pound laptop. The specs aren't over the top amazing, but that's the sacrifice I made for weight. Weight is so important when traveling, and the past few years I've traveled a lot. Sure, full 1080p HD resolution and a 250gb hard drive would be nice, but the cost would be 5 more inches and 4-5 pounds, more than doubling the weight and footprint of the computer. I want to feel empowered on the road, not encumbered.
I'm thinking about replacing my two desktop Shuttles with one of those 17" laptops though. With coupons, the price is pretty low, and the Shuttles are starting to show their age.
