Keep up the Good Work, Cable Networks
I find it darkly amusing that the traditional news channels are not covering these fires as well as the blogs and SignOn San Diego's web radio. On CNN I see the same video of Malibu and Lake Arrowhead burning that I've seen all day. One mention of Fallbrook, and maybe two or three of Encinitas and surrounding areas.

On Fox News they are saying the fire could go all 35 miles to the ocean. I suppose this is possible, but as it has gone less than 10 miles today, I'd think it's probably a bit unlikely to last long enough to travel that far. They're also talking about arsonists, so maybe it's just more Fox fear mongering.
