Had my birth day bash this past Saturday at zeitgeist. Had some downtown brown, hefeweizen, and Belgian blonde. Good to hang out with the usual gang plus Mike Steczo and his brother Rick. Afterwards we grabbed some food and ice cream. Realizing how late it was, I rushed to meet my sister, who had flown up from san Diego, at the Bart station. We ran over to the bus stop. Jenny and rod drove over to our next stop, the playground restaurant. We got the biggest room and I jumped into singing right away, performing highway star. Booze appeared, especially the amusingly named Korean beer, hite. While we waited for the second round the door opened and in came some of the blue martini crew, bobby, his lady, sherry, and Dan mosedale. My sister and I did a few duets including total eclipse of the heart. Probably the most memorable performance was dan rapping to a slim shady song, after starting off with night rangers sister Christian. Thanks to everyone who showed up, I had a great time and I'm glad I decided to change things up from the usual bbq.
