New theory out there about the HBP-corpse

HBP spoilers, obviously.

There is a lot of work behind this, and they make some interesting points.
However, I always thought it would be a cheap move of JKR to resurrect Dumbledore in Book 7, after pages and pages of funerals and crying; nevertheless, it nicely fits with something I have been wondering about:

Was Mundungus telling Aberforth about the locket?

I think we all agree that one missing Horcrux (Slytherin's locket) is the one mentioned in OotP, which was kept in Grimmauld Place.
Many people also think that Mundungus stole it along with other stuff when looting Sirius's house.

Next we have the part in HBP where Harry sees Dung having a meeting with Aberforth in Hogsmeade - and here's the problem: WHY did JKR put this into the book, if they didn't have some plot-related business together? One reason could be that, if Dung has/had the locket, he could have showed/sold it to Aberforth who naturally would have told Dumbledore (Aberforth was in the order too, and I just assume that he is not stupid, and recognizes Slytherin's locket, especially when his brother is looking for it desperately).

So. If this is all true, and Dumbledore already has the Horcrux (or knows it's not in the cave anymore), why does he take Harry there and drinks the "poison"?

If there really was the plan of faking his own death, and if he had to have a reason to leave Hogwarts for a while, maybe to weaken himself to be "officially defeatable" - well then it all makes sense.

Or maybe Aberforth didn't recognize the locket and the above theory is wrong. But I'm pretty sure that this was the reason this scene was in the book at all.

Any thoughts?
