I merely want to do my part and... Y'know. Contribute to the city's economy in a positive fashion. Yeah. That sounds good.

But . . . is it honest? You talk about them sometimes -- people from home. And it's *lonely* being the only one from your world.

It's okay to miss people . . .

They're just people who I worked with. And lived with. And had to occasionally beat because of something stupid they'd done. And had to clean up nightmarish quantities of blood up after...

There's no reason I should miss those two at all!

Mm, we miss people for funny reasons, though, don't we? ^^ Even the parts we didn't like so much . . .

Even if she did she'd probably never USE all that money...

That's not important, anyway. As the number two of this outfit, It's just a responsibility of mine to stay in peak condition. I guess none of this money carries over back home, but... If I save enough of it and keep it somewhere safe in case I leave and come back, then who'll be the one who thought ahead? Me!
