I may be glaringly late to the Thanksgiving party, but if I wasn't, I wouldn't be Filipino. Anyway:

I'm thankful that the people that occupy my radius are all in one piece, at least physically. And that at least physically means that they'd still have the motor functions to repair their nonphysical damages.
I'm thankful that I'm pushing and being pushed to expand that radius.
I'm thankful that I still witness strangers doing kind things and so my faith in humanity continues to rest soundly in my holster of ideals.
I'm thankful I learn so many incredible things everyday that, in synthesis, I've learned to love the class, not the grade.
I'm thankful I broke my dad's Kindle not enough to render it unusable, but enough to make him buy a new one.
I'm thankful for my new second-hand Kindle.
I'm thankful I still enjoy doing things that I'm so very horrible at (ukulele! etc.)
I'm thankful to be able to go to a school without that much pretension, where I can be the strange person I am without shame.
I'm thankful I still have enough faith to get me by.
And I'm thankful for you, the person who's helped me realize all this.*

Thank you for transplanting a part of your kindness unto me.

I will, in return, write about you always in this deadjournal and love you nauseatingly, surreptitiously until I have no feeling left in my bones.

*Except the Kindle thing, which I realized fully on my own because I am an ace person.
