so update:

my friend kurt who got arrested has a $260 fine and he has to go to court in january.
i don't understand it though because he wasn't actually charged..he asked what he has to pay/go to court for and they wouldn't tell him...
is that legal?
like i know quebec has a totally different fucked up legal system..but still?
