Broken bride, you never breathed again

[All it takes is a pill, a slash across the throat, a bullet to end someone's life. To free them from a world overflowing with misery; to end the suffering. That thought used to bring Marionette Owl peace, used to guide a young murderer's hand against the men she loved. Men are weak creatures, they couldn't survive in a world like this.]

[That's what she believed for a long time. Joining Black Chamber only seemed to prove this point; the all-female unit, the "shadow FOXHOUND" and only rival to them in strength. Coming here and meeting her commander as a male, him even inadvertently telling her not to kill anyone, had served to bring her down a peg. Owl tried to follow his orders, tried to see him the same way she was the Viper from her own world. As time went on, as Marionette Owl made friends, lines began to blur. She saw them hurt and dying and couldn't do a thing; couldn't save them, couldn't free them, couldn't stop the world from breaking them apart. From cutting them to pieces, scattering their bodies in a field with their entrails and red red blood-]

[Those images only intensified in her mind, Laurence's perfect body and smile and heart and blood everywhere and everywhere and everywhere. Owl sits, knees to her chest, in some hallway on some floor of some godforsaken building that robbed her of everything that mattered. It took her rock; her Viper. It took her peace; murder. It gave her people to care about; then it broke each one in turn.]

[She's crying hard or maybe her eyes are just melting, Owl can't tell anymore. Her coat lies discarded across the hall, likely thrown there earlier by the woman herself. Deep lines of red mark each arm, the blood under her fingernails are enough evidence to give the culprit a name. Dementia- it blurs her vision along with tears as the light churns and plays tricks.]

((ooc; Fem!Owl's a little worse for the wear, but don't worry about her killing you... Unless you're a Snake/Campbell/a FOXHOUNDer))
