Alice succumbed to the stamina draining female soldier; losing consciousness completely to her whims... left as an unmoving slender figure against her own. Whether or not the ravens truly were shooed away was another story - Raven's traumatic experience apparently was so great that it literally became an apparition in her own thoughts!]

[The echoed lullaby seemed to repeat, a result of the touched closeness of the woman above her. It was a soft aura that would seep into the thoughts of the aggressor - willingly or not. That telepathic gift oddly remained active, even at basal function level. And yet the ravens, while still cawing loudly, seemed to fade with each passing moment. Maybe it was the mentally spoken music jingle of that commercial that soothed the beast!]
