[Vamp has had a few days by himself, mostly, to contemplate several things. He was reclined in his bathtub, watching the ceiling with deeply set eyes, thinking mostly about the relationships of people within this nexus, along with his own bonds that he has formed with individuals here. [she's just wandering the halls by herself like usual, an emotionless expression on her face, her head down, watching her feet as she walks]

[a sigh]

[vampdolph]

[Vamp can tell that the Raiden ahead was the one he was looking for. He snorts slightly, staring at her from behind. He approaches her tentatively, striding forward, all the while rumbling out in a low voice.]

Jackie--

[owmytits]

[simply stops, still looking at the ground]

...What?

[vampdolph]

[He should have expected a cold shoulder.]

Do you have a moment?

[owmytits]

[stays quiet for awhile before motioning for him to go on]

[vampdolph]

[Apologies don't come easy to Vamp. He averts his eyes, closing them slowly. He folds his arms gingerly.]

I believe I owe you an apology.

[owmytits]

[her eyes widen slightly, but she doesn't turn around]

...Do you?

[vampdolph]

--Yes.

[Vamp turns slightly, staring up at the ceiling.] I assumed that you would behave the same way as the Raiden from my own time, yet you have yet to try and kill me.

[He shakes his head slightly.] For that, I apologize for my threats to you.

[she sighed, shifting nervously]

...I accept your apology.

[she turned around slightly to face him, and you could tell that she had been crying recently. there was no real expression in her eyes]

[vampdolph]

[Vamp furrowed his brows. He was shocked by the answer, how easy it was for Raiden to accept his apology. Maybe she just wanted to move forward, rather than stagnate where they were.]

Do you?

[owmytits]

[she smiled a painful, broken smile]

Yes...

[vampdolph]

[Vamp relaxes after a slow moment. He's used to being tense around his 'enemies', considering people namely Raiden and Snake have a tendacy to attack him at random.]

Hnh...

[owmytits]

[she looked back to the floor. it seemed like that was all she was doing lately]

...Was that all you wanted?

[vampdolph]

No--

[He says, before he even gets a chance to think about things. He bites the inside of his cheek, fingers curling into his palms.]

Perhaps you would join my company for a drink.

[owmytits]

[she glanced back up at him, a little surprised, but shrugged]

...I guess, but you're going to be the only one drinking.

[vampdolph]

--I see.

[He closes his eyes. It's bad enough he feels the need to do this. His encouragement is weakening.]
