[Little Sunny is in the kitchen, singing the Fibonacci sequence and mixing something in a large bowl. There's a cake pan nearby and the stove is preheating while she mixes. And as soon as she starts the electric beater...

[Dear god, he'll never get how one child can make a mess like this. Dimitri's just going to linger in the doorway, debating whether or not he should finish the line of logic that brought him here. The cake mix coukd end up going horribly wrong, and someone would have to clean this mess up eventually...]

[It takes practice. Plenty of practice. Except, this hadn't been intentional. And she was planning on cleaning everything up, she's good about that.]

I'm sure it was. [He tilted his head slightly to one side.] Fairly impressive, actually. That you managed to do this all on your own.

A common mistake. The higher the speed, the bigger the mess.

[Hmm. Boxed mixes. Not his first choice, but ideal practice for a beginner.]

May I ask how far you've gotten in the recipe?
