[It has been quite some time since Snake has been out and about. Stabbing Ocelot had been satisfying, but it also reminded him that he needed to jump start his plans to regain control of the Nexus. As far as he knows, nobody else has tried to do so lately, so why shouldn't he seize what's available for the taking

[A certain psychic might look plenty enough bored, taking his husky out for another walk. The girl just didn't seem to run out of energy.

Until he spied Big Boss, that is. And promptly began walking slower. That was not the Big Boss he'd always heard about...]

[Snake knows of these psychics... he also knows unless they have a similar mindset to him, there's really little point trying to recruit them. He can't try to manipulate him by pretending his cause is noble since the man can read his mind, after all.]

[Instead, as he approaches closer he starts thinking about one of his favorite topics: murder. Then he'll see how the psychic responds.]

[The psychic treaded closer to the opposite wall, his grip tightening around Nadezhda's leash. She seemed to sense her master's unease, ears tilting back as they passed the other man by.]

[He doesn't pause, but continues to think dark, morbid thoughts. The man's unease seemed quite clear to him, and that amuses him.]

[He scowls, but allows the touch for the moment. A massage isn't anything to complain about.]

I've been keeping to myself after a certain room, but it's time to get back to work. No more idling, no more hiding.

[Though he's made it this far without dying, he's increasingly willing to take that risk to achieve his goals now. Anything would be better than doing nothing.]

[Snake continues down the hallway, but he has that funny feeling of being watched... better keep his guard up.]

[A whirling noise vibrates in supersonic waves down the extension of the hall. Overhead, the lights begin to flicker as though there is a great disturbance in the air. The sound of a wavering breath intercepts the surroundings, instigating that The Cyborg is lurking closer.]

[Now, thanks to the strange sounds and flickering lights, Snake knows someone must be there. Drawing his handgun, he spins around, aiming into the shadows. If someone's hoping to attack him, they will find that he won't go down easily.]

[Hmm. Snake is used to seeing older versions of this man, but he recalls his profession and how having one of him around during his first takeover would have been useful.]

[That in mind, he stops in front of the man, blocking his path but not speaking just yet.]

[Sure; it could be the EVA from Evil!Naked Snake's world... but how can you be sure?]

[Hnnn... he wishes it was easier to tell which EVA was which through sight alone. As it is he steps in front of her regardless, blocking her path.]

[He'll judge by her attitude, as he usually does, if this is the right one.]

[EVA stops as the man blocks her path; giving him a slightly irritated quizzical stare. Actually, she had just been wishing the same thing in regard to identifying the various Big Boss' around here.]

[Yes... that has to be her. Probably. He smirks, grabbing her shoulders and casually shoving her up against the wall.]
