[Blinks a few times, but eases into a bigger smile.] A pleasure to meet you, Rose. It's rare to meet people who are named after flora nowadays. And it's nice to know there are people here qualified in some way to do psychiatric work. With all the people here who seem to be soldiers, it's important to have people around who can help with whatever issues they might have.
[Since when did she gab like this? Emma felt much chattier than usual.]
