[Three days with Volgin's
10 million volts. After the initial scare and following power high, Ivan had spent the last two days desperately trying to control his powers and not nuke his apartment. Okay, so maybe it wasn't so desperate as passive; Ivan was never a man very willing to accept certain consequences in the face of thrill or hunger.]
[Volgin had lent him his considerably oversized insulation. The boring black one though, not that showy red Raikov was so fond of. Naturally, Ivan covered it up in disgust with his uniform.]
[Almost two days of staying away from the rest of the Nexus, he was well sick of it. One day, he just wanted one day to know what it felt like to have people cower at his feet again! Like back in Groznyj Grad, except instead of cowering at his feet they'd probably wet themselves too.]
[Real power felt like a faint tingle coursing through your entire body, right down to your fingers and toes. Real power was accidentally making a nearby TV explode while glowering at somebody who always sits on the couch. It was knowing you had the upper-hand, and anybody would be foolish to hint otherwise.]
[Of course Ivan was the foolish one. To caught up in himself to realize that with great power, came great responsibility. He'd shocked himself several times by now, and had very little control over the electrical current, allowing it to spike at simple emotional peaks even with the insulation.]
[Well, first order of business? Draw attention to himself! Ivan stepped into a nearby room, shucked off his coat and hat, and promptly began exploding and setting fire to the potted plants, couches, and chairs inside. The smoke set off the fire alarm and sprinklers in the room, giving him a nice electric shock for being so idiotic.]
[Ivan grabbed his stuff and fled the room, lingering near the open door.]
((OOC: He's dangerous! But also stupid and vain, so you know. Tread sort-of carefully.))
