[ Standing shirtless in the gym is Old Snake. He's sweating heavily as he works, doing weight lifting. His hair is soaked from sweat, his brow furrowed, his body looking good, despite being old... For now he was sticking to the singlehanded weights, but he was next to a bench in case he moved on.
Why was he working out? He'd been growing a bit complacent again, and since he was eating more than usual, he realized he should probably do more workouts... The last thing he wanted to be was an old fat guy like his dad.
There was also the fact that he and Julie had gotten back together... and he wanted to be able to protect her. He was always reminded of people he couldn't save, and with them living together now, and he being who he was, there was always a chance that something could happen.
Snake didn't want anything to go wrong. And if it did, he wanted to be sure that he alone could save her.
It was extremely humid today, and a storm was definitely brewing, but that wouldn't keep Snake from working out as much as possible. ]
