[Solidus' ghost was hiding.]
[He stayed hidden as best he could without leaving the site of his body, staring with a wide eye at the
mutilated corpse that Evil Raiden had
left pinned to the wall in the hallway. It was a pitiful sight. Pinned to the wall like a mocking parody of a man on a cross, Vamp's knives pinning him there. His body torn apart by the sword despite the exoskeleton that should have protected him. One ear was severed, his body coated with his own blood from the many, many stab and slash wounds he'd suffered. His foot had been sliced almost in half by the sword. More of Vamp's knives were embedded firmly into his body, one of them driven into his shoulder so deeply that even the hilt had been buried inside. Like stakes. The last of Vamp's knives, his precious scout knife, was embedded in his forehead. There were the fainted traces of agonized tears on his face, the mark of just how much Raiden had broken the proud man before he had died. His eyepatch was gone, the Snake Arms abandoned in the room he'd died in. Raiden had taken his swords.]
[Solidus stared at the body with a single blank, wide eye. His lips moved silently, too much shock in him for him to speak properly, even if someone was there to hear. ]
["Perhaps you'd like to see them both in body bags, hm?" The words Raiden had said were haunting him.]
[He couldn't. Raiden wouldn't go after Jack, or the older him, surely. Even him... even as insane as he was, he wouldn't... or the others, either. The others he'd threatened, like Vamp. Solidus was in too much shock to work out what had been truth, and what had simply been a lie to convince him of his own failure.]
[For the first time, George Sears had found himself entirely helpless in the face of an enemy. No matter how much damage he inflicted on Raiden, it had been for nothing. The monster that had been his son once hadn't even flinched at the bullets, at the sword, he'd just kept going, like some sort of machine. Solidus felt truly pathetic. He didn't deserve to call himself by the name of "Snake".]
[So Solidus simply sat there, staring blankly at the body that had once been his own, hidden from the view of the living.]
(Ghost post. You know the drill. He might show himself if you want him to, but he's considerably traumatised, so...)
