Oops, haven't updated since Monday. Lets see what this week involved then...
Tuesday we went down to Southampton for Harry's and DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING IN FORBIDDEN PLANET! Caps abuse is totally justified for that! Slipped slightly in Waterstones, but mumzee had a book token at least so it was something like £2 per book!
Wednesday, quiet but busy at work if that makes sense - not many people in, but we were short a person so I had a fair amount to do (she was off sick, are we really shocked about this... nope!)
Thursday, was spent fretting (while at work) about the upcoming Ferrari decision. And then finding out and running through all available emotions! I'm proud to say I made it home before I burst into tears. In reality I knew that this would be Fisichella's last year of racing, but I was doing my best not to think about it. As in most things in life denial is the best policy! Now we know, and I am broken! I can't imagine watching F1 races without supporting Fisi, it's been so long, I don't want to support any one else. It's not fair! *pouts*
And then, I got over it a little bit. Squee took over, because it's Fisi and Ferrari and MONZA, and largely the squee has stayed! I've resigned myself to the fact for 2010 at least I am going to be a Ferrari fan by default! And y'know, reserve driver = about and hanging around looking pretteh, I can mostly deal with that!
And then I saw these...
Which I wanted to draw hearts on and write 'reunited' because Rob was the bane of my Fisi picture collecting existence through 2002-03 because he was always in the pictures!
He looks so bloody 'appy that I can't feel bad about it any more. Yes, I'll still break my heart and go into mini mourning at the end of the season, but this is helping, it really is. I tweeted on Thursday that I would cry when I first saw him in Ferrari colours, and it was so true! Very glad it happened at home and not watching practise at work I guess!
Friday just sort of happened. I wasn't feeling my bestest and just didn't want to be at work!
Yesterday we went over to Fleet for Starbucks and I fell in love with a new drink! (Signature hot chocolate with whipped cream... almost as good as the chocolatte that Costa used to do).
Today was Motorsports Sunday! MotoGP, 125cc, 250cc, WTCC and F2 (as well as a bit of Superleague formula online!). Largely acceptable results if you're me! Especially the WTCC with wins for Priaulx and Farfus (bringing Farfus within 2 points of the championship lead! OMG!)! F2 wasn't without it's incidents as usual, but very glad to see Philip Eng giving a thumbs up pretty much as his car landed from the barrel roll! Moto was fun with Valentino and his Donkey theme! I love him sometimes I really do! Also great to see Dani on the podium!
