i finally found the basement to our apartment building. it seriously looks like a shot out of a horror film. there is just creepy shit down there. i had to do the laundry down there nonetheless because my favorite laundromat jacked up his prices and i no longer wish to pay them. i refuse to leave my laundry unattended so i took my SP to work on some more. i was so diligently into it that another woman came down to do her laundry and scared the living shit out of me. it seemed that she just appeared out of nowhere and with the creepy feeling already down there, i screamed. this woman of course, spanish speaking, looked at me like i was some kind of lunatic. it was one of those weird experiences that i know will linger in my head for some time.
so the fun things that happen at starbucks continue. tuesday it decided to rain in our drivethru. like INSIDE our drive thru. our roof has always leaked, but we deal with it. theres an upperlevel battle going on about it that is too hard to explain. in anycase, so it started just dripping on the bar, no big deal, put a frap bucket to catch it. then it starts dribbling on our shelves, new bucket, not problem. then it started DOWNPOURING on our register, printer, expiditor screen and headset system. shitfuck. this is of course during our morning rush. drivethru was shut down for 2 hours, partially during our rush, which lost us alot of business for the day. needless to say, i went home with a wet head and lots of frustration. i felt that we handled the situation the best we could, it was just an unfortunate situation and im glad that no one was electricuted.
