OK even though i am estatic about the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, i have serious doubts about whether or not it can stand up to the origianal Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Johnny Depp just doesnt even compare to GENE WILDER!!!!!! i mean yes Johnny Depp is probably the best actor of the modern age. BUT Gene Wilder IS Willy Wonka, no comparison. even johnny himself said he couldnt compare.
