(no subject)
It is bluemeg's 30th b'day that weekend and with all the previous years that have also been scheduled on/around that day over the past many years, and the forgetting to call until a couple of days later, and besides i haven't seen her shiny new house yet, i am going to her party instead. So nyahh.
Too bad, i had had this vague thought of getting off my sewing-butt and putting together Darla's costume from the scene where she sires Angel. I am probably too lazy to get that sort of thing together in 2 months, anyway.
We will be coming down to b'burg this weekend though. Mostly to do painting and general cleanup of the house some more so maybe someone will want to rent it sometime soon. vtbiochemgoddes, can we borrow your rug cleaner again? i never did do the livingroom/hallway, and that's the area that really needs it. i can just come and steal it from your house if you are not there this weekend. oh and bagels(tm) for mrstickman, and anyone else that wants to come over and make themselvesuseful/offer pithy advice/comments. Likely there will be dinner at the cellar or someplace that has woodchuck on tap sat night. Oh yeah, part of the plan is also to get my bed out of wyrdone/narquelion's basement, if that is still possible.
i have been extremely unproductive the last week or so.
*Had one modeling job over the weekend which was ok.
*Made drunken noodle from an online recipie, it didn't seem right, even allowing for the fact that i didn't get the right kind (read:spicy) of chilies for it. any suggestions?
*i have made my sewing machine obey; it now does blind hemming without eating the fabric or anything else unfortunate happening.
But that was really all aside from a lot of dorking around and getting depressed reading stuff on the net, and day-to day life-maintenance activities.
Bleh. anyway, we now return you to your regularly scheduled life.
