Gosh. Somebody's had a complete and total perspective failure, haven't they - if you're "evil evil pathetic" then we're going to have to think up lots of new words to describe people who do stuff worse than merely asking for a refund on something they bought.

Anyway, I'm glad you got it sorted out in the end. My battle with thetrainline.com is as yet unresolved - I'm still waiting for a reply to either of the complaints I sent to their customer service department.

Send that email to amazon. My mum always taught me "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all", if only he had taken this advice :)

Good. That way if he has spoken with them, they can see how he's been acting towards a customer using the amazon site. Ultimately, a bad customer service experiance through the amazon marketplace reflects badly on amazon as a whole, something I'm sure they don't want.

I can't remember where I saw it but I ran across a rant on a similar issue.

The general theme was "meeting your minimal legal requirements does not count as good customer service and you should not expect to be praised for it"
