In which it becomes evident that I watch way too much TV

Note: No major spoilers, but my comments probably aren't going to make a heck a lot of sense if you haven't seen the episode in question.

Dude, I just watched every single one of these shows (except Merlin) this morning.

Re: Supernatural
Did the directing feel a little off for you? I don't know, there was something a little strange about the camera this episode. I totally didn't end up hating Lisa as much as I thought I would (I still haven't watched the back episodes), mostly because she felt totally extraneous and unnecessary. She could literally disappear, and nothing would change.
I've had a girl crush on Mitch Pileggi's voice ever since the 1990s, and evidently I still do. Every time he talks I swoon a little inside, which is weird because he is now FREAKING OLD. That look he gave. . though. . there's no way he's not evil! But he's probably going to redeem himself, or something?
Sam's acting felt odd to me, too - but I think its because the writer's put too much effort into Dean's development (or maybe they're going to do something with Sam in a few episodes, and can't have his character be inconsistent?). When Dean was drinking beer with his buddy he totally felt like a man's man. Love!

I think Glee redeemed itself a lot with the first episode of season 2. It was fun, flashy and inconsistent - but it had a lot of the heart that was present in the first half of season 1. There's also less drama of the annoying sort. Bieste's characterization was annoying because when she first appeared, she was swinging at Sue and Will, and then she started feeling bad because THEY were mean to HER? If they wanted to develop sympathy better, they should have introduced her as feeling remorseful about cutting their budgets, or something.
I like that they're using Mike more now, cause he's really the best dancer. Totally can't wait for the Britney episode next week!

Community was :o. I totally wish I had an anthropology class that involved constructing weapons of mass destruction.

Re: BBT. I think Penny and Leonard broke up in the middle of last season? They didn't get back together at the end, did they? I remember that episode where they were playing 'parent' to Sheldon after they broke up, and Penny was going to take him to an amusement park or something.
I totally love Sheldon's new girlfriend. Haha. The actress also has a Ph.D. in neuroscience, which is kind of rad. They've made enough references to her throughout the series, so I'm glad she's a character now.

Ah! I also didn't watch Chuck. I really didn't like the first half of the 3rd season, so I didn't finish it. I've got to get on that. .

But hearing the Ellie is pregnant kind of pisses me off. Oh well, better her than Sarah, because I don't think I could stand dealing with a baby in every episode.

I've missed discussing TV shows with you! :> You must come over next weekend (or Friday or something!) and we can watch jailbait!JGL and rant about next week's episodes of various shows. \o/

SPN: Everything felt kind of strange! I hope this doesn't set the tone for the rest of the season, and I hope they'll start resolving things soon (who brought back Sam and Grandpa? are the creepy Campbells evil?). :x *bites at nails*

Glee: when she first appeared, she was swinging at Sue and Will, and then she started feeling bad because THEY were mean to HER?
Yes, this, exactly! As juvenile as it sounds, Bieste (ah, that's how you spell it) did start it -- and Will+Sue are pretty juvenile people, all things considered, so it's not surprising that they took immediate offense.
One thing I'm really happy about re: Season 2 is that the damn pregnancy storyline is finally over! \o/
I will never say no to more screentime for Mike. :D ♥

Community: That weapon! Oh man, ahaha, I can't not laugh every time I think about the weapon. If all anthropology classes were like that, I would've chosen it over sociology, any day. XD

BBT: Oh, you're right! I remember the "parents" episode. Why did they break up, again?
The actress also has a Ph.D. in neuroscience
Wow, really? That's awesome -- makes me like her even more. :D

Chuck: The Sarah/Chuck thing was irritating when it was drawn out, but after they got together, it's been a lot better, imo. Oh god, but if Sarah got pregnant I think I would have to stop watching. Ugh, pregnancy plots drive me up the wall, *rantrantrant*

Yes! For sure - school is so stressful that it will be a great break. Ohh. .. and I didn't know JGL was jailbait in that movie! Now I really can't wait to see it (err. . . maybe that came out wrong).

I actually like the female Campbell - she seemed really ballsy. And besides, if she becomes a love interest (as every female character seems to), we know the writers are willing to move up the consanguinity chart.

Yeah! The actress who played her is the same one that played Blossom. In the physic's bowl episode, they made a joke about Blossom (I think Raj did) getting her Ph.D., and now she's in the show.

Oh - and I think you were right. Didn't Leonard and Penny have a one night stand at the END of the season? It's been way too long since I've seen it! I really can't remember

Re: Chuck - Yeah. That's why I stopped watching, when they introduced new love interests for Chuck and Sarah and the drama went through the roof. I think that Chuck's love interest was developed well, but Superman just annoyed me!
I really do need to catch up though, because everybody keeps saying they resolved those subplots and the C and S relationship really well.

Actually, I can't remember if he's jailbait in that movie -- he looks like it, though? :D;;

I had to Google Blossom. ^^;; I don't recall Raj's comment re: PhD -- time for another re-watch! :D

They did! Someone in a comment below reminded me that they broke up because Leonard said, "I love you" to Penny and Penny was all, "I'm not ready for this!"

Oh man, yeah, the new love interests plotline was so tiresome -- I couldn't even remember who Chuck was going out with and had to think a bit before I got the Superman reference. Fear not, Superman is now out of the picture completely. ;)
