What a wookiee!
I can see this lj thing is going to eat into my homework time. I'm so damn nosy. But, this is beneficial... I mean, I am being introduced to all these new online tests. I've taken online tests before, I know how pure I am, how math pure I am, how Minnesota pure I am... but I never knew I was a Chewbacca. I'd always hoped, you know... but to have it confirmed right there in print on a webpage.... DAMN it feels good!
So I have to turn in an abstract tomorrow for a proposal I haven't written. Extremely poor planning on my part. I was thinking of doing something on the history of technology, or natural language processing, but I think I'm going to cop out and do ant colony optimization of the traveling salesman problem. (Wow, I am such a geek.) OK that doesn't sound like much of a cop out, does it? But it is, because Chris, Irfan and I already wrote a proposal about it. I would just have to make it a lot longer and better. It's even more of a cop out because I didn't come up with the idea myself. But I'd like to see YOU write an abstract for a proposal on how the scientific revolution bears on the current software crisis situation! ;) (Wow, I am even more of a geek.)
I got confirmation of my e-ticket in the mail today. It's too late to turn back; I really am flying to Florida for a holiday I don't celebrate. OK, so I may not celebrate Christmas, but I still like having a white one! At least, the one white Christmas I had was cool. Not that I got to go outside and play in it, but I looked out the window and there was snow and it was Christmas and that is cool. I want more of that. But noooo. I have to be in Florida. Ummm. Bah.
