I guess it depends on use, haven't heard of the ipod battery kit tho.

I've trimmed down my mp3s too to like 25gigs. I don't really use the id3 tags, i have my own system of folders and naming conventions that work great for me.

The big size makes it nice for transfering/storing big files like DVDs when you dont have that huge RIT network connection available.

Mauvis comes back Wed. so he can deal with that mail stuff then.

i would use my ipod as an external hard drive more if it wasn't a relatively slow hard drive.. just like all the other hdd-based players. you can pick up a laptop hard drive, enclosure, and cable for cheap and it's small. did you ever see that little silver external hard drive case i have?

I remember you having one, don't remember what it looked like tho. Its nice to just have everything in one unit tho, and the speed seams plenty fast to me.

actually it was one "3rd notice" letter from the Student Loan Consolidation Center = Junk Mail. Everything else was just letters and credit card statements.

I knew Trent couldn't tell the difference so that's why I wasn't too worried.
