Yesterday, the devil came here. Right here. Right here. And it smells of sulfur still today, this table that I am now standing in front of.

Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, from this rostrum, the president of the United States, the gentleman to whom I refer as the devil, came here, talking as if he owned the world. Truly. As the owner of the ( Read more... )

um... no.

that's not even the point of what chavez is saying, but good try.

besides, those conclusions are not only impossible considering the situation, but do not even support the claim. I'd expect a little more educated response from someone who's actually in the military. josh, you know how america interacts with all other nations. I'm not the one who claims imperialism, but then again, I'm not in any other nation. I've traveled abroad. I've seen how other nations (much less allied nations) view our american system and our american "leadership". Its almost like a huge international inside joke. you know this, you know why this is, and you know how other countries feel.

this is beyond liberation of american people, we are too far blinded to be liberated at this point. dont forget, we all love dubya. If any country were willing to actually stand up and do something, much less pillage, rape and burn much of anything to anybody's steps, it sure as hell will not take place on american soil, and (if it even started motion) it would be ended before it even started.

I could only hope for something as good as socialism at this point. that wouldnt even happen.

my vote is for an american cous d'etat.

or internal support collapse. whichever comes first.

ps. I suggest finding bush's speech he actually gave at the assembly.
then go re-read chavez's statement. you'll see exactly why he feels this way.

All these are quotes from George Bush's U.N speech 13thmarksmen September 25 2006, 00:35:57 UTC
" My country desires peace. Extremists in your midst spread propaganda claiming that the West is engaged in a war against Islam. This propaganda is false, and its purpose is to confuse you and justify acts of terror. "

" Every civilized nation, including those in the Muslim world, must support those in the region who are offering a more hopeful alternative."

" Every nation that travels the road to freedom moves at a different pace, and the democracies they build will reflect their own culture and traditions."

" The world saw you hold up purple ink-stained fingers. And your courage filled us with admiration."

" To the people of Darfur, you have suffered unspeakable violence. And my nation has called these atrocities what they are: Genocide."

" I'm committed to a Palestinian state that has territorial integrity and will live peacefully with the Jewish state of Israel."

" Freedom, by its nature, cannot be imposed. It must be chosen. "

Yup, you're right... He sure sounds like the devil

Not really...

I'd just like to point out something

This country has been targetted atleast 21 times (I'm talking 9/11 size attacks on 'roids) by the al quida network (this report was confirmed by the french government) and the bush adminstration has stopped all attacks on our soil

He must be doing something right...
