Oh Fridays....how I love you.
I have 15 minutes at work left to kill and was reading back through my journal. I have not updated in a really long time! Shame, shame, double shame on me.
Hmmmmm.....what's new? Obviously not much, thus my lack of updates.
Joe's been making a lot of subtle comments about diamonds and engagement rings. It's driving me absolutely freaking bonkers. I'm trying really hard not to assume anything because the boy's nickname is "Jackass" for crying out loud.
Work is busy lately, which is good. I like having something to do, I just wish that more of what I had to do was stuff I actually wanted to do.
I am going to start sewing again! My last project was a set of Roman shades for my guest bedroom and I think they turned out fabulously due in large part to the assistance of venus97402. I have recently purchased a bunch of patterns and books and I am going to give this a real go. I need a hobby other than poker and captain morgan. And I certainly don't mean to imply that I'm tired of the poker and captain morgan. I just think I need a little balance in my life. So Friday nights will now become sewing nights! I have to clean out my closets so I'm hoping I have some old clothes I can reconstruct into other stuff.
Joe and I are planning to enter the National Jigsaw Puzzle Championships in Vegas in December this year. We are so cheesy I absolutely love it. Warning to all those who think they may want to witness the marriage of Brandi and Joe: I find it extremely hard to believe that Joe and I would make it out of Vegas WITHOUT getting married. So may I suggest that you start considering a trip to Vegas in December?
