X Men 3: The Last Stand
This was one movie that i was anticpating to watch since its announcement to release it for yr 2006. But probably due to the high expectations i had for this movie, (prolly due to dark phoenix and all) i actually left the theatre rather disappointed.
Hmmm... Since i couldnt join sis to watch it, i checked the website and found out there was a sneak preview yesterday and there were lotsa empty seats. So booked 2 tix at The Cathay. Oh... I think the layput of the theatre is damn nice!! The grand cathay!! Guess i shall catch more movies over there whenever possible. =P *WOOT*
Well, i shall not say much bout the story but i just felt that the whole thing was rather slip-shot. As it was the end of the trilogy, seems that everyone has to die. Cyclops did within 15 mins of the show. And so did Prof X. And there was vey little focus on anybody at all. Rouge did not participate in the fight at all. THe appearance of angel was just to fly around in the skies. >.<
Only good thing i feel? Lots of character were featured here. Callisto, jauggernaut, shadow cat, collossus and the usual few. Felt that phoenix'a powers can be more powerful then wat's shown on the movie. Nonetheless, I still very much like her.
Comparing it with Da Vinci Code, I think i will choose the latter.
Go watch it guys. For if you have watched the previous 2, dun miss out this one. Mark an end to X MEN!!
