Easter and DTYD
If you don't remember, DTYD is my floor's annual big party. It's been going on for a long time ["forever", which I think means mid-seventies], and it's something most bombers look forward to. It is always held the Sunday of Patriot's Day weekend, the 4 day weekend in April that apparenlty was just made up by Boston so we don't have to go to school.
This year, that Sunday is Easter.
Do I go home for Easter, or do I stay and party and take part in a huge floor event?
This shouldn't be hard - it's a holiday, I should be home. I feel like Easter is more important than any party.
Plus, DTYD kinda sucked last year. I was told it was good in a different suite, but idk.
I don't hang out much on my floor anymore and I think I should. I need to be more social. But... I don't really want to. How guilty will I feel drinking on Easter? While my mom serves dinner to everyone but her daughter?
So I ask: what would you do?
