Unfortunately I've met far to many 'idiots' who also go to MIT. Lucky for you you're not one of them. Sometimes I'm not sure about myself, though.

Oh I'm definitely one of those 'idiots' that go to MIT. Tim we probably both are. Just ask coach Taylor. Allie, I'll drop in my two cents, even after that 'powers' comment of yours. For the sake of keeping you sane.

Since you've kind of missed the cut-off for getting a kickass engineering job this summer, I'd go for a small local business that does something you like (ie. an ice cream place, coffee shop, something cool like that). The owners will actually give a shit about the place (if it's not a huge starbucks style chain) and you can most likely chat them up and get the job. Milk the MIT thing for all it's worth.
