Summer's Coming!
This week is finals week for me, ladies and gents. I'm surprisingly not freaking, which is good...but I do have a lot to get done as usual. I think I've adapted to stress. Stress has just become my permanent state of mind, lol.
I can't believe that summer's already here though-I feel like it came up so fast! I'm excited to see my family and meet my niece in July and be with my friends but I'm also very sad to leave Tampa! This year has been very, very different for me then freshman year--um, I enjoyed this one, lol. I've truly settled in here and I even missed it during spring break. I dont' know how I'll feel being away from this place for 3 months-yikes. I'll miss the skyline and the water and the city sounds and lights and the palm trees and anoles (little lizards that are EVERYWHERE here). My roomies and I are so close that I think i'm gonna go into withdrawal but thankfully one lives in Mass and will be visiting and one of my closest guy friends is in NYC so he may come up too. Which will be interesting lol.
I've decided and discussed with the parentals and this will be my last summer calling Amherst home, as I'm tired of trying to live in 2 parts of the country at once. Mostly I want to really sink my teeth into marine bio work...I'm planning on applying to the aquarium here for a paid job as I'm sorta sick of unpaid internships. THEREFORE! This summer should be kickass as I feel like we are all growing up so damn fast! I hope we all find time to play together as much as possible...beach trips, camping, bbq's, dance parties (sober or otherwise lol)...lets dooo it. :) Hope you all are enjoying the fact that its your last week of classes and that finals doesn't slap anyone too hard!
