W00t?
I'm back from Chicago where I obtained some awesome items in Chinatown that will be making their way to some of you this holiday season/in a few days when my ass finally gets to the post office, helped someone pick out a gift for her niece at the American Girl store, visited Navy Pier and searched, unsuccessfully, for a really nice pentagram. I did find a cool one at Navy Pier, only to later see crosses sold in the same circular style and realize this one was a lame attempt at a star of David. Not that I understand why you would put that in a circular pendant given other associations but as that was its intent... I don't know. Maybe I'll paint the insides of each point to make it clearer what it is to me.
Anyway. I have blisters, visited the worst Starbucks ever, picked up some shirts at the Disney store and had lunch at Cheesecake Factory before we headed home yesterday. All in all, not bad, scary cabbies and rude Starbucks employees and American Girl store crowds and rude people aside. I WAS too tired to come on last night but here I am now and should be here most of the day.
