I think I'm gonna cry
We called the dealer this morning to make sure it was still there, whereupon I am told that the key is lost (?!!) and they have to order it. Okay fine. We decide to go out and see it anyway and if they'd take my car as a trade in. We drive all the way to just outside of Lansing, eye the car and decide we're leaving. Fucker is rusted everywhere (they said the doors only), has a torn roof and a huge crack across the windshield. We turn to go and are accosted by one guy who gets our sales guy who proceeds to tell us the whole story of his life and how his family came here from Iran and couldn't go back home for political reasons and all kinds of other non-relevant information about his relatives and then keeps trying to sell me a huge truck. There was one nice one if I'm not working part time.
After this, we proceed to Chinese food and to look at other lots closer to home, which have nothing that I like or rather, nothing that I like and can afford. One funny moment involves Sar's Mom at the restaurant. Sar's Mom goes to dip her half of spring roll in the sauce...Sar looks up in horror as her mother's spring roll gets dunked in her tea. Uh what Mom?
Then she gets a quick haircut while I scan the used car adds but find nothing there... Ugh...
Then Kroger where there is lots of discount Easter candy but no more Cadbury cream eggs. -_- Which made me sad.
Then we come home and move furniture since the cat has destroyed the couch with her new habit of peeing on it. It looks a lot nicer in the living room at least, but seriously. This has been one hell of a messed up day for sure. Let's hope that Shade is still available for me to order anyway.
