http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/8132101.stm Yeah I know there was a Guardian Article about this but this is the first time the BBC has actually commented on the issue. It's funny. I was joking with
anachronisma about retiring my Nottingham castle icon since spoiler happened in the show and we weren't likely to see it again and now that's actually...true in more than one sense
Mixed feelings about this. I was interested to see how they'd pull off a fourth series and was looking forward to the new blood and new energy that would have resulted from the end of the last series but in a way it's better to just imagine what's coming next for Much, Tuck, John and of course, Archer, who I was sure I would hate but came to look forward to seeing in action. I mean really. I was disappointed so many times this series as it is that I'm just as happy imagining them roaming off together somewhere and appearing not long after in the ballads that you never know the real truth of.
Ah well. I have my own Wil to work with if I can ever get the damn sneaking into Nottingham scene right. It was supposed to be nun disguises but that feels cheap to me now. Lepers was another thought but it also feels cheap and overused. I'm not sure what my answer is here since the characters that I need to show up to witness this stuff are the pimrary people my sheriff and Gisbourne are out to get. (Actually I'm not sure what the sheriff's deal even IS. It's not like he gets off on capturing outlaws or hanging them or anything. In fact, he thinks the whole thing is a big pain in the ass...maybe I need to drabble him alone. Or something.
Anyway. I'm sleeping now and I'll think about it more tomorrow.
