But why did they pick you to sympathize with their side?

I wish I even had WORDS to express what is frustrating me at the moment. I suppose, in the simplest terms, I'm very annoyed with Cornwall and the connections to the Tristan story and then Camelot as such. I'm aware that this naturally is going to happen with a story that is not an original part of the Arthurian canon, and that isn't what is frustrating me. It's determining how I want to handle the Cornwall thing in my stories that is driving me absolutely BONKERS. Thus far, I've set up Mark as king, etc, etc. This has worked for me so far, however I'm concerned with the treatments of other writers which place different people as the rulers of Cornwall and in different capacities of ownership. For example, I've seen Dukes as rulers, and other such things...which brings me to point two, sort of...

I also know from my own dearly annoying Tris muse that Cornwall in my world was annexed, sort of, by Arthur, though all this really means is that as High King, Arthur has the right to call the kings of the other nations such as Orkney, to war and to demand taxes and I'm not terribly sure that I'm doing THIS right either. Not so much that Arthur can and does do this, but the actual plausibility of such a thing and how I'm going to convey it in writing without going overboard politically...Nngh.

Also, on another note, but related. The implications of my half saxon Cai are really irritating to consider. I like him, but I resent the work that it's going to take as well. Why couldn't he be fucking welsh like every other Cai? Gah.

I don't know, this is all absolutely FRUSTRATING and ENRAGES me right now. Clearly I need to get a GRIP. -_-

I do like this song an awful lot. Someone recently claimed it for me, and I do see most of me in it. Weird that it was written for another Sara, although one without an h...
