Lazy ass
I guess I haven't cared much to update this of late. meh.
Random C-class adventures are had these days, such as going to the Grove Cafe this morning for a pleasant, greasy lunch. Homemade fries and banana cream pie were much enjoyed. Oh Eighties Ames, you musta been somethin'.
Wheatsfield Grocery, in addition to supplying me with delicious cranberry almond scones, carries an intriguing line of preserves I have decided to try out. Because 90% of my diet these days is rice and toast. At least I attempt creativity: yesterday I gorged upon rice with cinnamon, sugar, and dried cranberries. Mmm. My new undertaking shall be the baking of a pie, methinks. We have a black raspberry bush in our backyard and today I picked a bowlful of the goodies.
For some reason the city is feeling generous and is holding a FREE pancake breakfast before the parade on Monday. Tickets are only free if they are picked up at City Hall by tomorrow, however. Plans are to go avec la fille.
I work tomorrow morning for some odd reason, so I had really ought to go home and to sleep now. Someday I'll probably update again, fear not.
