So, this whole Warriors For Innocence thing. To whit, a lot of interweb people are in a snit because a pedophilia watchdog group asked LJ to crack down on molestation and sex journals, and a whole bunch of slash and incest fanfic/fanart journals got caught up in the editorial frenzy ( Read more... )

I think some people are miffed because weeding out actual internet predators is sort of a delicate, tricky process, and by being so heavy-handed (and not being a legit group), they probably tipped off a lot of people, who'll be harder to find now.

But yeah. Mostly it's the loss of slash. Heh.

I HAD THE BEST RESPONSE TO THIS DURING WORK BUT LJ KEPT EATING MY COMMENTS.

There was something about how Slashers are as bad as furries about whining on the internet and probably got their panties in a twist because they ALWAYS get their panties in a twist whenever someone mentions that Paul McCartney doing Dhani Harrison is gross and wrong. BECAUSE IF YOU SAY THAT YOU ARE A HOMOPHOBE AND HATE THE GAYS.
