The day in the life of the unemployed.
It is here… my first day of unemployment. I slept in till 9. At a bowl of cereal while watching crappy day time television. Chased Courage in my pj’s while he went to say “hello” to the neighbor. I talked with my mom, played online, and ate some granola bark. I did 2 loads of laundry and the dishes. I made myself some lunch while texting with Jason. I ate my lunch and watched All My Children and the beginning of One Life to Live. I made coffee for the week for Jason. I tried my skinny jeans and they didn’t fit. Fat jeans adorned, I packed up my recyclables and recycled them. I went to Wal-Mart for essentials. A woman in a large red truck eating a burger almost ran me over. I spent $50.00 at Wally World and drove home. Here I sit; lonely, a little depressed, but mostly unemployed. I wonder what tomorrow will hold.
