So much to do.....
The last couple of weeks have been crazy. So here goes………
1. Sickness
Well Jason was sick forever and a day.. then he got better.. and then he got sick again. During which all of this I was attempting to pack up our crap…guess what happened? I got sick. It started as a virus, but by Tuesday I was all green and yellow. I’m finally feeling better, but still have a pesky sore throat, and 6 days of antibiotics left. Jason’s fine now by the way.
2. House
We finally got a house. I love it, Jason loves it and the animals are blissful. There is plenty of space and the way that the house is set up.. makes it feel even bigger. We closed down here in Pulaski on the 15th and actually didn’t have any problems.
3. Move
We moved on the 16th. The moving company we used rocked the fucking house. They had great prices, and NOTHING got broken or stolen. I’m soo happy. I found them online… read their reviews and after getting the quote we went for it. They only cost $89.00 an hour, and they were worth every penny. Especially since I was sick.
4. Bad stuff
The stupid refrigerator I bough from Maytag is broken. Some how the ice maker broke and the whole back of it looks like a frozen water fall. After days and days of calling people, there is only one repair person that comes out here.. and they only come out on Wednesdays. Okay, I can handle that.. but he won’t set appointments and he just say it’ll be somewhere between 7am and 9pm. WTF? Insane. So we called HomeDepot who we bought the thing from.. but they insist we have to bring the fridge back ourselves.. ummm I wouldn’t have had it delivered if I had a way to do it all myself. Stupid. Soo.. we have 3 options; 1. Return it ourselves. (That bitch isn’t fitting in the Prius) 2. Wait on the repair guy. (Stay home from work a full day for this asshole repair guy) 3. Buy another refrigerator, pay for the delivery and then when they delivar it they will take the old one back to the store and refund our money. (I’m leery. Can you hear Judge Judy now “You bough another one?!). We’re now discussing the fact that we don’t really want a Maytag because there is only one person in the area to services it?! I don’t know. It’s BULLSHIT! We also had a little issue with water in our crawl space.. 8 hours later.. it's all okay.
5. Class
My online classes are a pain in the ass. I’m so sick of the “discussions.” I’ve got to push through… I still have some major assignments in Sociology and I have yet to read the book. It’s unfortunate because the books not bad, my life had just been so crazy I haven’t had time.
6. Coding
The last three days I’ve spent in my coding boot camp. I have learned some good stuff, and been disappointed by a bunch also. I think the problem is people forget that other people can read. I don’t need to pay someone a shit load of money to read a book to me that I already have. What a bunch of bologna. Belch. I also forgot how annoying some people are… it’s weird. Do any of you watch “Dead Like Me”? There is an episode where Betty and George classify people.. and I keep catching myself doing it. Anyway, I’ve decided to go with the Registered Coder instead of the Certified Coder. The tests are very similar and the pay rates are about the same. The decision to take the RMC instead allows me to pay less money yearly, for the exam and I get to take the exam online. The CMC is a 5.5 hour test that is proctored and cost way more. So go me.. I’m thinking I’ll take the exam next weekend. The plan was to take it this weekend, but I’m just exhausted.
7. Occupational Therapy
So today was my interview. Last night I met up with Trina and her roomy Ashley to talk about the program at Belmont. Ashley is in her first year of the program, and told me all about. It helped relieved some of my nerves and I think it helped me with my interview today. It went well… I interviewed with Dr. Ford, which is who I met with the preview day. She was still very positive, but didn’t give me a yes or a no. I am very hopeful though. I didn’t feel like I put my foot in my mouth any.. and my interview was the longest.. When I came out all the other students had left. She did say I should hear something within the next couple of weeks.
8. Babies
We found out on Valentines day that we’re going to be having another nephew! Yay!! So as Gregory has decided we will call him Harry Potter, or Sam. hehe Which ever he prefers, I just feel like it’s important to take his ideas into consideration.
9. Weight
I have gained 10lbs since that stupid cyst happened. I don’t know if it’s the hormones or inability to exercise combined with the crappy food from the move… but it sucks. I finally got my period and now things should be returning to normal. I have to say I was very excited this month. Ha! Anyway, I can’t wait to get life back to normal and get this weight off!
10. Birthdays
I still can’t believe I’m 26. Susan’s birthday is this weekend! It sucks not being there.. and turns out she killed her iPhone… so I can’t even really communicate with her. I did send her a little gift.. I wish I could give her more.. but it’s the thought that counts.
