better than reading
i haven't updated in a while. well as you know from my previous bitching school still sucks and that probably won't change. there was this one day that i flipped out during lunch though like cursing out big black people and eugine. i guess i kind of felt better afterwards but i mostly just laughed about it. i have a business test tomorrow and i'm not fucking studying. i got 101% on the last 2 tests without even looking at the notes. i have to read for english, but the book isn't due till next monday so that means reading will get done sunday night. i'm hoping for an A in physics, i think i can pull it off.
Friday night i went to the local show at trinity. Break away and SGR played great. i didn't really pay attention to the other bands but Anne had a sick bassist. I mostly just hung out with yapes, alex, and brian. Yapes brought out a broom and starting skanking with it, that was hot. than kate bought some cheesy bread, but i was poor and hungry so i ate some. i think i got a bruise that night on my shin.
Saturday night i went and saw Taking Back Sunday and Saves The Day. Just as i expected they both played an amazing set. Contrary to everyone elses beliefs the new guitarist for TBS is great, he is truly the man. They played all my favorite songs and some cool new ones i haven't heard. Saves The Day of course the headlining band played great. They covered "Hey Ya" even though i hate that song i liked it when Saves The Day played it. The opening band was Moneen and imagine this crowd...its a fucking taking back sunday/saves the day show. teeny boppers and jocks all over. there was this dick in the pit like fucking judo kicking 8 feet into the air. i wasn't even in the pit just at the edge and i catch a fucking foot to the jaw. needless to saw i was pretty pissed and just stood there angry untill halfway through the tbs set. than i started moshing with alex fun fun. during saves the day alex, brian, and yapes all got to the front and i couldn't get up there cause of these big guys in my way. so i just stayed in the pit for saves the day and i saw this super hot girl with a taking back sunday shirt and short hair. i saw her skanking so yes i asked her to dance. SHE SAID YES!!! that was hot. afterwards i bought a taking back sunday shirt.....i don't bring my glasses to shows cause i mosh and i would probably lose them. i couldn't read my shirt till after i bought it. it says pump up the jams. how fucking dumb is that? By the way i met chris conley from saves the day and got him to sign my ticket. hes the man. i saw jon loudon there and i was talking to him after the show about his band and where he would be playing its was pretty cool. everyone go to the hamilton st. cafe on December 13th to see jenaberlin play. it should be sexirific.
besides all that good stuff i applied for a job at subway, im poor and it would be HARDCORE if i worked with alex and liz.
