It is difficult to feel incompetent when one can sing through Defying Gravity from start to finish, pitch-perfect, with that full-body, connected-air, locked-on-focus feeling that makes you think you just might be literally lifting off the ground.

It's part of why I sing my guts out in the car ride home from work every day.

It's also part of why I tend to run hoarse all weekend.
