So I am on episode four or so on Fringe and its all right. It got me thinking can we have a show or even a movie where people investigate nice things? Like giant networks of making people happy? Not like Firefly making people happy that creates Reavers, but like unicorns from space touch down in Argentina and start using sonic waves to....find endangered species of bats? Locals investigate and hijinks ensue because the unicorns want to take the bats back to their home planet? I don't know.
The point is so many popular shows (or maybe it is just eh shows I find interesting and thus keep watching) are so depressing. They are all cop and crime and investigating murders. Maybe I am not looking at the right shows, maybe I could resign myself to watching My Little Pony... I don't know.
In conclusion Walter is my favorite, followed by Astrid.
