Back to Bassics
I've had my bass for little more than a week now and have enjoyed the journey so far. While I feel there has been progress, the research that I had done in leading up to this new hobby suggested that a good way not to develop bad habits is to take lessons with an instructor. As much as I like idea of cracking the musical nut on my own, the benefits of formal instruction are undeniable.
So starting next Thursday, I will be taking weekly bass lessons. The slot fits right in between when I get off work and should end in time for me to still get to the fencing club. If not, well... I'll burn that bridge when I get to it. It just seems like if I am going to do this, I should learn how to do it right.
